Increase in Salary under the 7th Pay Commission
Under the 7th Pay Commission, employees in Uttarakhand, including those in various departments and as teachers, have been receiving their salaries. The government has now approved an increase in the dearness allowance (DA) by up to 4%, which will raise the DA to 50% for employees.
In addition to this increase, employees will receive arrears for the DA covering January and February. The official order for the revised DA is expected to be issued in March. Starting next month, employees will receive their salaries with the updated 50% DA rate and will also be paid arrears for the DA from the past three months along with their new salaries.
